The Wyoming Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction has been asked to write a report on the status of all schools in the state.  As part of this report they are collecting input from educators, parents and the community.  You thoughts and feedback are essential to this process and could be extremely helpful to the development of future educational policy.  Please take a few minutes to respond.

Laramie County School District #1 is currently experiencing an over capacity issue in many of our elementary schools. Due to this capacity issue, many students are bussed to the nearest school with space availability. If new to the area, please call your neighborhood school or the Assistant Superintendent’s Office at (307)771-2188 to receive help in determining where your children will potentially attend school.

To locate your school triad boundaries for the 2012-13 school year -- Enter the school locator map by clicking the link above and input your address.

*At this time, elementary students residing in “The Pointe” subdivision will continue to attend Anderson Elementary, McCormick Junior High and Central High School.

School Year Common Start & End Times
  • Junior High and Senior High schools will begin at 7:45 a.m. and end at 2:45 p.m. High school students will have access to a “zero hour” period.
  • Elementary schools will begin at 8:35 a.m. and end at 3:35 p.m.
